Village Board Adopts 2010 Municipal Budget
The Village Board adopted the 2010 Municipal Budget at the public hearing on Monday, November 16th.  The budget includes a 2.86% Village of Shorewood only tax levy increase.  The village's share of the total tax bill is 26%.

Retail Market Development Plan
In April 2009, the Village of Shorewood retained Business Districts, Inc. (BDI) to provide a Retail Market Development Plan to guide the Village as it seeks to support tenant recruitment. This project focused on both Shorewood’s existing businesses and on new businesses that could fill existing vacancies and anticipated new development.  To view the recently completed plan, click here.

Seasonal Flu
The health department has some seasonal flu vaccine still available. Please call to schedule an appointment at our regular immunization clinics. These clinics are held the second Monday of the month 2:00pm - 4:00pm and the third Tuesday of the month 7:30am - 9:30am. The cost is $30.00 or we will bill Medicare Part B, if you have this coverage.

It's not too late to get your seasonal flu vaccine as the vaccine can be administered throughout the flu season.

H1N1 Flu Vaccine
All H1N1 clinics are scheduled on vaccine availability and guidelines established by the CDC and the State of Wisconsin.  The H1N1 clinics that were planned for November 18th at Lake Bluff and the 21st at Cumberland have been canceled.  A H1N1 vaccination clinic is being staged cooperatively by the North Shore and Shorewood/Whitefish Bay Health Departments on Thursday,  November 19 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Bavarian Inn, 700 W. 2010 Census
U.S. Census workers will be collecting information from Shorewood residents to complete the U.S. Census.  In March 2010, residents will receive a census questionnaire in the mail.  Residents who do not return the questionnaire by April 1st may receive a visit from a census taker.  For more information, click here.
