Fish & Feather Festival

11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Hubbard Park

Come to Hubbard Park and enjoy a beautiful riverside setting with fall colors, salmon swimming upstream, fly fishing with Trout Unlimited, and live bird and reptile displays. Fun activities for the kids include free pumpkin and birdhouse painting. Adults can enjoy the music, food and Hubbard Park Beer Garden.

Recycling Collection 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

This year we're teaming up with the Shorewood's Conservation Committee and our community partners to host a home recycling collection:

  • Goodwill: clothing, electronics and household items
  • ReStore: building materials, furniture and other household items
  • TJM Solutions: unwanted latex paint
  • Shorewood Police Department: expired and unwanted prescription drugs and medications
  • old tennis shoes, corks, CFL light bulb and batteries also accepted.

The inaugural Fish & Feather Festival was held in 2014 to celebrate Shorewood's water resources and the fantastic wildlife that depend upon them. The event has continued annually. Participating organizations include:
