With its Lead Service Line Replacement Program (Policy 44 and Ordinance 3043), the Village of Shorewood has stated its goal to remove all lead service lines - public and private - from the Village's water system within the next 20 years. This systematic replacement will contribute to improved public health and safety as well as comply with the federal Lead and Copper Rule Revision requirement.
