Village Clerk's Office

The Clerk's office is governed by State Statutes 61.25 and 61.26 and is responsible for various duties including but not limited to:

  • Election administration
  • Official agenda and minutes preparation
  • Maintenance of Village Ordinances and Resolutions
  • Administration of alcohol, business and special event licenses/permits
  • Tax calculation, collection, and disbursement
  • Management of the annual Board of Review
  • Official custodian of Village records and the Village seal
  • Coordination of appointments to the Village’s boards, committees, and commissions

The Clerk and Customer Service Department provides a one-stop opportunity for our residents to take care of all their basic requests. The Customer Service Department works closely with the Village Clerk's Office and other departments to provide seamless services to our residents. Services are available in person, by mail or online as noted:

  • Apply for a new license or renew a license
  • Learn about beekeeping in the Village
  • License your dog or cat (by mail or in person)
  • Pay your utility bill (by mail, in person or online)
  • Pay your property taxes (by mail, in person or online)
  • Pay your miscellaneous receivable/invoice (by mail, in person or online)
  • Register your vehicle for temporary, over-night, on-street parking (on-line)

  • Request an absentee ballot (by mail or in person)
  • Schedule a block party (by mail or in person)
