You'll also be very pleasantly surprised at how clean the river has become over the last 30 years. You'll feel like you are on a river excursion in the North Woods!
Beginners and pros are welcome. Canoes will be provided at no cost. Don't forget your camera and wear clothes and shoes that can get wet. Bring a bottle of water and your sunscreen. Hats and sunglasses are also helpful.
Come to Hubbard Park and enjoy a beautiful riverside setting with fall colors, salmon swimming upstream, fly fishing with Trout Unlimited, and live bird and reptile displays. Fun activities for the kids include free pumpkin and birdhouse painting and for the adults music, food and the Hubbard Park Beer Garden.
