    Mark Your Calendars for Friday, June 23rd, 2023! Shorewood will return to playing host for a day to the largest cycling event in the country, the 19th Annual Shorewood Criterium Classic presented by Draft & Vessel! The Tour of America’s Dairyland features 11 days of competitive racing around Wisconsin and brings in riders from amateurs to professionals. In addition, our local event includes kids races (littles, middles and tweens) and more fun at the Kensington Square block party!

  4. Milwaukee River Adventure

    Sign up for a Milwaukee River Adventure Wednesday, June 28th 11:30 am to 2:00 pm The Milwaukee Kayak Company will guide an excursion down the Milwaukee River starting at the new Hubbard Park kayak launch. The 2-hour journey will meander through the Milwaukee River Greenway to the city and end at MKC's Schlitz location on 1555 N. RiverCenter Drive. After your paddle, enjoy the Schlitz Beer Garden or River walk and either walk back to Shorewood via the Oak Leaf Trail, hitch a ride or grab an Uber. Kayak and gear is included and is FREE to the first 12 Shorewood residents who register. Must be experienced paddlers and at least 14 years old. The Milwaukee River Adventure will be held weather and safe river level permitting. To register contact Kae with the Shorewood Waters Project at: swp@shorewoodwi.gov.
