The budget process for FY 2025 invited the community to provide their feedback to the Village budget in a way that had not been done before. Due to the Village facing budget shortfalls from mandated improvements, there were options provided of how to creatively address them.

The high impact options poll was provided to help identify the community's priorities regarding potential new user fees, savings through adjustments to project timelines, or increases to the tax levy. We invited the community to attend the September 16 Village Board meeting ahead of the poll opening on Tuesday, September 17. The poll closed on September 30.
