On Tuesday, March 3, Village Clerk Toya Harrell had the distinct honor of welcoming Governor of Wisconsin Tony Evers to Shorewood.
The visit was part of the governor's statewide tour of municipalities, during which he met with local clerks to gain firsthand insight into the election process and discuss how elected officials can best provide support.
After touring Village Hall, Clerk Harrell had a sit-down conversation highlighting to Governor Evers the dedication and work that goes into ensuring every voter has a smooth and accessible experience. The discussion offered a unique opportunity for direct dialogue, collaboration, and a shared commitment to strengthening the integrity and transparency of elections.
