[ARCHIVED] Important Flood Information & Resident Survey

letusknow_newsflash

Shorewood has invested tens of millions of dollars into sewer system capacity improvements, and while no system on earth can guarantee elimination of basement backups, information is critical to ensure our systems operate at peak performance.

Your data - where the water originated, when it occurred, its depth and duration - is invaluable to our continual assessment of our system performance.

PLEASE complete this form or contact DPW at 414.847.2650 to report any water in your home or building. Please know the form and survey will close on Monday, August 25 at 4:30 pm.

The Department of Public Works is also mobilizing to collect water-damaged items at no cost to residents. If you are a Shorewood resident with water-damaged items, please contact DPW at 414.847.2650 or email dpw@shorewoodwi.gov. Items will be collected at no charge, but the basement backup must be reported at the link or phone number above.

For those who helped a neighbor, thank you. It's at a time like this that we need to lean on our neighbors to help get through an unexpected event such as this. For those who were affected, we appreciate you taking the survey to let us know the circumstances. And thank you to our dedicated Public Works team who spent this weekend removing debris from storm sewer drains and clearing roadways of fallen tree limbs.
