In 2024, the Safe Drinking Water Loan Program (SDWLP) awarded BIL funding (up to $599,645 in principal forgiveness) for replacing an estimated 230 private lead service lines and low interest financing (0.25%) for BIL required public lead service line replacement in the census tract 804.
The funding and financing secured will help reduce the amount of funds required to be collected through user fees as part of the Village’s LSL replacement program.
