The plan was developed after review of park features and inventory update, four park-specific input sessions held at Atwater Park and Beach, the Shorewood Nature Preserve, River Park, and Hubbard Park, an online survey and three community listening sessions.
The CORP outlines seven goals including specific recommendations for each goal. The Committee requested the Village Board prioritize River Park master planning, Atwater Park improvements and Hubbard Park master planning in 2027.
