A basin (or sewershed) is a term that identifies a discharge area. All flow within that basin will discharge from the Village's sewer collection system to a singular point and enter the municipal interceptor sewer (MIS) which is owned and operated by MMSD.
During this investigation, dyed water will discharge to the Milwaukee River - this dye is non-toxic and not hazardous to aquatic life.
Work will take place the week of November 13 through 17. Signs have been posted and surrounding municipalities and agencies have been notified.
