The Ghost Train is operating, it is just delayed due to issues with the system’s internal clock from a previous reboot of the cabinet.
The good news is that it will be addressed with the next maintenance call to fix a few of the light strands and the amplified sound. Funds remaining from the initial fundraising to pay for ongoing maintenance issues is not sustaining, so the Public Art Committee is being pragmatic about scheduling service calls to keep funds in place as long as possible.
While the program tied to the Ghost Train is delayed, you’ll note the ambient light program is operating; and we are looking forward to announcing upcoming partnerships that the Public Art Committee has been working to establish. The Village is so proud of the work of our volunteer Public Art committee to continue showcasing this community asset.
