On September 3rd the Village Board approved a public engagement plan for the 2025 budget process (see pg. 275 of the meeting packet) and high impact options for the budget (see pg. 277). This tool will help educate the community on short and long term budgets impacts to be considered with each budget season moving forward by 1) clearly relaying the budget options, 2) providing opportunities for public input, and 3) explaining implementation impacts of selected alternatives.
